Established in 1999 with a vision to provide a quality leading service for chilled and frozen distribution throughout the island of Ireland on a 24 hour 7 day week basis, Derry Refrigerated Transport has grown to be the most recognisable logistics brand on the byways and motorways of Ireland.

As our expanding fleet of refrigerated lorries, rigids and vans are based throughout the island of Ireland every day our fleet can service delivery of single pallets and part or full loads whether ambient, chilled or frozen.

Starting out with one truck and one trailer the fleet currently consists of 100 trucks, 160 fridges, 20 curtain trailers and 4 skeletals. We are expanding our fleet in line with demand and committed to refreshing the fleet within in every five year period to provide the most secure and reliable service to customers. Customers are assured of full traceability of their product from the point of collection to point of delivery and live tracking of our fleet allows our team to provide customers with live updates on their product movements. We are a BRC accredited company and the only haulier in Northern Ireland be awarded the McDonalds DQMP accreditation.

Our team of professional drivers, warehouse operative, transport planners, mechanics and washers play a key part in the efficient running of our fleet. We service a demanding and time sensitive industry and our team are on hand 24/7 to guarantee that the quality of customer product is maintained at all times. Our highly skilled transport team are well experienced working in a ‘Just in time’ delivery industry and recognise that customer requirements can change at short notice. Our chilled cross dock facility and storage chambers in Carn Coldstore offers customers the unique opportunity to contract out all storage and delivery commitments of their product.
